My heartfelt thanks to the citizens of Chicago for what has become the most memorable marathon of my life. The most enjoyable part of the Chicago Marathon was the crowd response. The crowd even made a middle-of-the-pack runner like myself feel welcome and appreciated. Now I know why people love Chicago so much. I’ll be back next year!
