M. Wilma Deffenbaugh, 89, of Normal, formerly of LeRoy and Berwyn, passed away at 12:22 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2005, at ManorCare Health Services, Normal. Graveside Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21 at Oak Grove Cemetery, LeRoy. Pastor Brent Anderson will officiate. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 21 at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, 101 W. Center St., LeRoy. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. Mrs. Deffenbaugh was born Jan. 2, 1916 in LeRoy to John Lyle and Lulu Fogal Moran. She married Glenn Deffenbaugh Aug. 21, 1937 in LeRoy. He passed away July 11, 1983. There are several nieces and nephews surviving. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Bernice Salmon and Louise Gassaway. Wilma graduated from Empire Township High School in 1933. She had been a bookkeeper for Olympic Savings and Loan in Berwyn.
