Donald Trump’s pointing fingers, and not the “You’re fired” kind.
The Donald wants everyone to know he’s not to blame for the dropping ratings of his “Apprentice” show. It’s Martha Stewart’s fault.
Trump told ABC Radio that Stewart’s version of the “Apprentice” hurt the fourth season of his show because it mixed up viewers.
“I think there was confusion between Martha’s ‘Apprentice’ and mine,” Trump said. “Mine continues to do well, and as you know, the other one has struggled severely.”
He continued his Martha bashing later on the Don Imus radio show Thursday, declaring he knew all along that Stewart’s show would fail.
“I never thought it was a good idea,” he said, according to Business Week Online. Trump, who is an executive producer on Martha’s show, complained, “I was never in favor of it.”
So we guess that’s what he really meant when the show was announced in February and he said, “We think this will be a tremendous success.”
