Beloved husband of Mary, nee Ropal for 62 years; loving father of Christine (Allen) Betker, Jeffrey (Linda) and Susie (David) Brod; dearest grandfather of Heidi and Rebecca Schmidt, Michael, Cara and Jeffrey Jr. Gressick and Josh Brod; great-grandfather of Alex Polywka, Dakota and Kaylee Richards; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Funeral service Monday, October 24 at 11 a.m. at the Olson Burke/Sullivan Funeral and Cremation Center, 6467 N. Northwest Hwy. (1 blk N of Devon) Chicago, IL 60631. Interment private.
