Letter writer John J. Gordon of La Grange lists multiple problems of a newly formed democratically styled government: a growing insurgency, a breeding ground for terrorists, massive waste and corruption, dwindling security, lack of basic services, enormous cost/budget overruns, tragic loss of life and the growing threat of civil war (Voice of the people, Sept. 26).
He said he was talking about Iraq.
