Florence W. Linsner, nee Niewiadomski, age 76 of Palatine for 42 years; beloved wife of the late John R. Linsner; loving mother of Eve (Eric) Watts, Jean (Paul Heltne) Linsner, Matthew (Frieda) Linsner and the late Steven (Nancy) Linsner; cherished grandmother of Amos, Daniel and Rebecca Watts, Abigail, Lydia, Brian, Michael, Valerie, Joseph and Rose Linsner; cherished great-great-grandmother of Loren Watts-McCabe; fond sister of Loretta (Robert) Salzer. Florence grew up on Chicago’s south side, attended Gage Park High School and later, fashion design school. She worked as a receptionist at a dental office. Florence met John, her future husband, when they were both walking down the aisle, as bridesmaid and groomsman for their mutual friends’ wedding; marrying one year later in the same church. Throughout her life, everyone enjoyed her quick wit and a spicy sense of humor. Visitation at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine, IL. from 2 to 6 p.m., Sunday.
