Lawrence Robert Swanson, age 59, husband of April Evans Swanson, of Anderson, SC, died Tuesday, October 18, 2005 at the AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson, SC. Born in Elmhurst, IL on November 3, 1945, he was a son of the late Robert Lawrence Swanson and Arliss Lorraine Stone Swanson. He was a retired Graphic Artist having graduated from the Ray Vogue School of Design in Chicago, IL. He was a Motorcycle and Hot Rod Car enthusiast, and an avid Golfer and Historian. He attended Central Presbyterian Church in Anderson, SC. He is survived by his wife, April Joy Evans of the home; a brother, Kenneth William Swanson of Anderson, SC; two sisters, Linnay Gail Cummings of Houston, TX and Candice Lee Diggins of Anderson, SC. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, October 24, 2005 at 7 p.m. at Central Presbyterian Church, Anderson, SC, officiated by Dr. David J. Bailey.
