Original naughty girl Madonna is going to–of all places–CBS to preview a song from her upcoming disc.
“Hung Up,” a track from “Confessions on a Dance Floor,” will play during two crossover episodes of “CSI: Miami” and “CSI: NY,” according to Entertainment Weekly. The song will pop up Nov. 7 on “Miami,” and then a remix will play two days later on “NY.”
The episodes are about a serial killer who is “hung up on the daughters of a wealthy family, and the reason he keeps killing is because the victims are stand-ins for these girls,” “Miami” exec producer Ann Donahue told EW. “We wanted the song to be relevant to what’s going on.”
In her own quest to stay relevant, Madonna premiered her new documentary, “I’m Going to Tell You a Secret,” last week in New York. But she was worried the audience wouldn’t think the behind-the-scenes look at her “ReInvention Tour” was juicy enough.
“It was like, ‘Oh, my God, oh, my God … they’re going to think it’s boring!’ Just worrying the whole way, biting my fingernails off,” she told ABC News Radio. “When I got to the end of [the screening]. … I could feel that people enjoyed it. That was a huge relief for me.”
