Howard E. Snyder, age 95, of Schaumburg, born in Chicago, formerly of Mt. Prospect, beloved husband of Bernice, nee Farrell, for 63 years; loving father of Judith (Charles) Davis; cherished grandfather of Kim (Kirk) Larsen, Kristen Davis and Jen Davis; great-grandfather of Bradley Larsen and Carlie Scupin; dear brother of Burton Snyder and the late Juanita Snyder; dear uncle of Mark, Paul and John Snyder. Howard was a member of Culver Military Academy Legion, North Shore and Chicago Chapter of the Retired Officers Association and O’Hare Alumni of the Reserve Officers’ Association of the United States. He was a retired Lt. Col. from the Air Force, serving during WWII. Visitation 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 330 W. Golf Rd., Schaumburg. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Interment All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
