Robert Eugene Barcus, a 65 year old Grayslake resident, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2005. He was born in Chicago to Eugene and Bonita Barcus, nee Kipfer, on Oct. 11, 1940. Bob was known for his generous spirit and living life full of optimism, curiosity and love. Beloved husband of 40 years to Barbara Barcus, nee Arrington, whom he wed on April 10, 1965 in Tinley Park; cherished father of Dawn (Diane Melesio) Barcus, Robin Barcus and Melissa Barcus, all of Chicago; and dear brother to Marcia Beckman of Whitewater, WI. His aforementioned parents preceded him in death. Friends of the family may join them for a Memorial Service on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2005 at 12 Noon, at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 1822 E.
