Like U2 needed to be reminded that they put on the year’s biggest tour.
Still, the Irish rockers won top honors at Wednesday’s Billboard Roadwork ’05 Touring Awards. Their Vertigo tour was named top tour and top draw, billboard.com reports.
Tennessee’s Bonnaroo Music Festival was named festival of the year. We would’ve voted for Lollapalooza right here in Chicago, but the city wasn’t totally shut out: Billboard named Chicago’s House of Blues the top club.
Other artists rewarded for their road shows included Kenny Chesney, Bruce Springsteen and Rascal Flatts.
