The Pentagon issued a report Tuesday stating that roadside bombs are the deadliest weapon in Iraq. The report’s release came as the military announced that another U.S. Army soldier was killed by a roadside bomb, raising the number of Americans who died in October to at least 93, the fourth deadliest month for troops.

GROUP DENIES ROLE IN BOMBING: A feared militant group widely believed to have been behind the deadly weekend bombings in New Delhi on Tuesday denied any involvement in the attacks, saying they did not target civilians. The denial comes a day after India’s prime minister said there were foreign links to the bombings–a veiled reference to Pakistan-based militants.

MOROCCAN ACCUSED IN BOMBING: The Moroccan blamed by Baghdad for a deadly car bomb attack in Iraq was a top recruiter of foreign fighters, sending militants across the border from Syria and acting as a liaison with European extremists, a former associate said Tuesday.

BIKER RESCUED FROM WELL: A French motorcylist has been rescued from a well, where he had been trapped for five days after an accident in the Moselle region of eastern France, rescue officials said Tuesday. The 22-year-old man was trapped under his motorized bicycle in the 5-foot deep well when he was spotted by a farmer on Monday.
