Men have it easy. No child-bearing, cellulite or PMS. On the other hand, trying to stand out in a crowd packed with khakis, button-downs and sensible sweaters can be stressful.

“Everyone from Gucci to Yohji is showing velvet jackets for men,” he said. “It’s a great dressy/casual look with an open-neck shirt and jeans or groovy pants.
“Also, the deconstructed sweater jacket with patch pockets is slouchy chic at its best,” Moran said. “It’s the anti-sport coat; soft, casual and eye-catchingly stylish.”
