President Bush even wants to lock up Americans accused of being “terrorists” indefinitely, without being charged or given a trial.
Just as Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. and Cesar Chavez were once branded as “communists,” so anyone can be branded a “terrorist.”
We desperately need a justice who will stand up for our civil liberties.
