I was sitting in the family room with my youngest son, who is a sophomore at Emory University. He suggested that we watch “Jeopardy!” together. I hadn’t watched that show in ages.

Much to my surprise, I knew the answers to all of the questions–rather, the questions to all of the answers–immediately. Every response I gave was correct and I answered before any of the contestants.

I looked over at my son and said, “I’m really good at this, aren’t I?”

He replied, “Mom, it’s the high school championship.” Oops!
