The Braves return all five starters, led by Marcellus Sommerville, the Missouri Valley Conference preseason player of the year. Sommerville, 6-7 and 225 pounds, averaged 17.5 points and 7.5 rebounds last season. He is joined by senior guard Tony Bennett (11.8 ppg) and sophomores Daniel Ruffin, Jeremy Crouch and Patrick O’Bryant, who all started as freshmen last year.
