– Lamborghini is selling its sports cars in Shanghai after opening its first dealership there. The dealership will carry the company’s complete model lineup, the company says.
– Ford is subsidizing the installation of fuel pumps that distribute a gasoline/ethanol blend. Ford will with partner with VeraSun Energy Corp. and convert an undisclosed number of gasoline pumps to VeraSun’s ethanol pumps throughout the Midwest.
– Plant expansions in Mexico by Ford Motor Co., General Motors and Volkswagen will drive up exports from that country by more than 25 percent from a year earlier for the next six to eight months. For the year, Mexico expects to import 5 percent more autos than in 2004.
