Harry Potter (right) worked his magic once again at the box office with help from his fans–and Fandango.

The boy wizard’s fourth film, “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire,” grossed $101.4 million in its debut weekend, the best results yet for the franchise, according to studio estimates released Sunday.

Tickets sold through Fandango, an online ticketing service, accounted for an estimated $12 million–or about 12 percent of all seats sold. Another online service, movietickets.com, rang up $10 million in sales for the movie, making “Goblet” the best seller ever for online tickets.
