The Christmas Tree Ship: The Rouse Simmons, owned by Herman Schuenemann, who shipped Christmas trees from Wisconsin to Chicago via Lake Michigan every year. It sank off Two Rivers, Wis., during a gale on Nov. 23, 1912, killing Schuenemann and 16 others.
