If Jay-Z has 99 problems, then commitment is one. The rapper opened up to Rolling Stone magazine about his personal life–and possibly why he hasn’t married girlfriend Beyonce (as far as we know).
He said he “became more guarded” after his father left his family more than 20 years ago, according to excerpts in the New York Daily News. “I never wanted to be attached to something and get that taken away again.”
Nonetheless, Jay says he’s ready to be a dad in “the next five years.”
