Lenor Day, daughter of the late Victor and Ellen Lindahl, died November 2, 2005, at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Loving and Beloved wife of Robert; mother of Olivia; grandmother of Amanda and Day; greatgrandmother of Elaine, Grace and Samuel. Following graduation from the University of Wisconsin, Mrs. Day worked as a marketing specialist for the Barbizon Corporation and United Airlines. A lifelong resident of Chicago, she served the community as a member and past president of the Chicago Fashion Group and as a member of the Women’s Board of the Chicago Cancer Society. In recent years Mrs. Day was a resident and board member of the Breakers at Edgewater Beach. A service in celebration of her life will be held Thursday, December 8, at 3 p.m. in Walker Chapel, 1st Presbyterian Church, 1427 Chicago Ave., Evanston. Reception following at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to the charity of ones choice.
