Oddly, a feature film has yet to be made about the improbable life of Chicago architect Frank Lloyd Wright. That may change now that Scout Productions (“Queer Eye for the Straight Guy,” “The Fog of War”) has picked up the rights to Franklin Toker’s 2003 best-seller, “Fallingwater Rising: Frank Lloyd Wright, E.J. Kaufman and America’s Most Extraordinary House.” But a question arises: who’s to play the quirky Wright? Norman Mailer was architect Stanford White in “Ragtime,” but he’s too old. Brad Pitt’s studying architecture, but he’s too hunky. How about Christopher Walken? He resembles Wright and has the requisite creepy vibe. Any ideas?
