And leave it to Jessica Simpson to make the network’s Big in ’05 Awards something to talk about.
Simpson kicked off the show by winning the Big Stylin’ award, her first major public appearance since announcing her split from husband Nick Lachey the night before Thanksgiving.
“Is it kind of weird that I’m getting kind of emotionable–Emotionable?–emotional about winning a style icon award?” she said, delivering a typically ditzy acceptance speech that was noteworthy for one thing: no mention of Nick.
Jess’ win–and loopy speech–was just one of the highlights from Sunday night’s goofy ceremony. Here’s who else was Big in ’05.
