This is in response to “Cats multiplying like rabbits.” In my opinion, this problem is due to irresponsible pet owners who, if given the choice, would rather spend their money on something else rather than have their pets spayed or neutered.
I think the time has come for all states and/or counties to pass mandatory spay and neuter laws for all pet owners, except those licensed for breeding. These laws should also have stiff fines and penalties for those who don’t comply, and prison sentences for those who abandon or dump their pets.
