Joy Edith Osborn, 78, a resident of the Holmstad on Batavia, beloved wife of the late Lemuel Earl; dear mother of Christy (Gayle), Kevin (Sheri) and Gwendolyn; proud grandmother of Clinton and Jordan Osborn; and sister of Bill, Bob and Anne Brunn. Born August 21, 1927 in Cincinnati, OH, she died Saturday, December 3 at the Holmstad’s Michealsen Health Center. She was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta, the Central DuPage Hospital Auxilary, Family Service, and the Chicago Rehabilitation Institute. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and an active community member. Memorial Service, Tuesday, December 6 at 10:30 a.m. at the Michealsen Health Center Chapel, 831 N. Batavia Ave., Batavia.
