Wesley William Pendleton, 91, died November 29 in the Mather Pavilion in Evanston of complications from Alzeimer’s disease. Born April 2, 1914 in Cranston, RI. Mr. Pendleton studied engineering at Rhode Island State College and won a graduate fellowship at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. For many years a noted electrical engineer with Anaconda Wire & Cable in Muskegon, MI. Mr. Pendleton was awarded numerous patents for innovations in magnet wire insulation. In retirement Wesley and his wife Marion spent part of several years in ZephyrHills, FL. Wesley was an avid walker and created colorful photographic collages. Both Wesley and Marion were dedicated members of Muskegon’s Central Methodist Church. They moved to Evanston in 2000 to be near their son Robert. Wesley was predeceased by his wife of 66 years, Marion Tymeson Pendleton, in July of this year. Survivors include four children, Wesley Jr. of Flushing, MI, Robert of Evanston, Helen Wurz of Chicago, and Norman of Muskegon, MI; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Services will be private.
