Norman Perry passed away on Sun, Dec. 4, in Leesburg, FL. He was born on Mar. 8, 1930 to John and Anna Pietras in Chicago, IL. Norm is survived by his wife of 50 years, Mary Ann; his children, Karen of Justice, IL, Lynn (Angel) Rico of Orlando, FL and John (Tessie) of Aurora, IL; his sister-in-law Rita Kalfas of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; his grandchildren Jessica (Nicolas) Graefe, Anna-Maria and Angelina; and his great grandchildren Noe and Maxi. Norm and Mary Ann moved to Leesburg from the Chicago area in 1999. Norm was a member of the Knights of Columbus since he was a young man and an army veteran in the Korean War. His family would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude for the prayers and kind heartedness of our family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to LRMC Circle of Friends Foundation, 600 E. Dixie Ave., Leesburg, FL 34748 in appreciation for the sensitivity and compassion shared by the nurses and doctors of Leesburg Regional Medical Center. Visitation will be on Wednesday, Dec. 7, from 2 until 8 p.m. at Beyers Funeral Home, 1123 West Main St., Leesburg 352-787-4343. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 8, at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, 1330 Sunshine Ave., Leesburg.
