Alan S. Klein, 76, of Lafayette, CA, formerly of Chicago, IL, passed away on Dec. 6, 2005, beloved brother of Marjorie (Howard) Gardner and Charles; devoted uncle of Jill Baker and Jeffrey Gardner; dear granduncle of Carrie and Cheri Baker; also fond and special friend to Shin Aoki. Mr. Klein was a Veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard Engineer Corps. There will be no visitation. Services and interment for Mr. Klein will be private. Cedar Park Funeral Home, 12540 S.
