Could it be? Could a Paris Hilton album be (choking … on … words) good?
At least one early review is in, and Paris gets thumbs up as a singer. The dingy diva invited Hollywood gossip columnist Perez Hilton to a Warner Bros. studio as several record executives listened to Paris’ upcoming CD for the first time.
“The team at Warner Bros. … is so excited about this project that they are–as of now–hoping to release four to five singles,” reports Perez on perezhilton.com. “The album really is that good.”
“I worked my ass off on this record,” Paris says. “And I’m very proud of it.”
A single from the untitled album may surface in clubs around Christmas with a video hitting airwaves in January.
“Sonically, the album most resembles Gwen Stefani’s solo record,” Perez says. Nicky Hilton told RedEye in April that her sister “has a great voice.” She sounds “kind of like Blondie.”
Perez adds that Paris does a good job on the cover of Rod Stewart’s “Do Ya think I’m Sexy?” Stewart reportedly was so happy with it, he may “come and sing on the track with her.”
