Michael Hopmayer, age 59, of Schaumburg, IL, died Sunday, Dec. 11, 2005 at St. Alexis Medical Center in Hoffman Estates, IL. Michael had recently been working at Kenneth Young Mental Health Facility in Elk Grove Village, where he taught computer education. Some of Michael’s hobbies included model trains and collecting Disney collectables. Michael will be remembered as a wonderful, caring, compassionate, loving man with a great sense of humor. Beloved husband of Barbara J. Hopmayer; loving father of Jonathan E. (Stephanie) Hopmayer, Aaron J. (Melissa) Hopmayer, Michael R. Lester, Thomas P. (Susan) Lester, Jennifer A. Lester and Justine S. Lester; loving grandfather of Zachary Hopmayer, Jonah Hopmayer, Annemarie L. Lester, Ashley M. Caver, Tkeyah Maiden, Devantre L. Maiden, Jazmin Maiden and Nicky Walls; dear brother of Gary S. (Meme) Hopmayer and Joseph (Judy) Hopmayer; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Visitation Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2005 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N.
