Robert A. Elkin, 88, cherished husband of Sheila, nee Rubin; beloved father of Eileen (Scott) Boore and dear stepfather of Michael and Mark Cohen; proud and loving grandfather of Stephanie (Stephen) Forrester, Daniel, Jordan and Hanna Cohen; wonderful uncle of Andrea and Norman Katz and many other nieces and nephews; preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters. Bob was one of the founders of Bnai Emunah where he served with great pride “from janitor to chazzan”. Service Thursday 1 p.m. at Beth Hillel Congregation Bnai Emunah, 3220 Big Tree Lane, Wilmette.
