Edward L. Bender, 85, of Glenview, died Dec. 9, 2005, World War II Army Veteran and 50 year employee of Kipp Manufacturing Company, beloved husband of Irma; loving father of James and John (Sherry); grandfather of William; dear brother of Robert and the late Floyd, Elizabeth “Sis” Miller and Wilma Hawk. A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, Dec. 17, 2005 at 11 a.m. at Donnellan Family Funeral Home, 10045 Skokie Blvd., at Old Orchard Rd., Skokie. Interment private.
