Dennis E. Dougherty, 67, of Aurora, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2005. Survived by his wife of 39 years, Eleanor “Ellie” Dougherty of Aurora; children, Eugene (Lisa) Dougherty of Los Alamos, NM, Joseph Dougherty of Wheaton, IL, Eva Dougherty of Aurora, Andrew Dougherty of Pittsburgh, PA and Catherine “Kate” Dougherty of Aurora. Mr. Dougherty was employed with Thomasville Furniture Company and Kimball Furniture Company in their hospitality sales departments. He served his country with the U.S. Army for six years, spending two years overseas in Korea with a M.A.S.H. Unit. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, Dec. 17, 2005, 11 a.m. at The Healy Chapel, 370 Division Dr., Sugar Grove, IL. Visitation will be Saturday 10 a.m. until the time of Service.
