“Superman Returns” is going to be huge next summer.
And that’s the problem, according to British tabloid the London Sun, which cites a “production source” from the movie as saying audiences won’t need X-ray vision to see what Brandon Routh is working with in Superman’s tights.
The Sun suggests Routh may have to be digitally downsized. You might recall similar rumors involving Lindsay Lohan’s breasts in “Herbie: Fully Loaded.” Those were denied, and Routh’s rep shot down the bulge buzz.
The rumor is “completely without merit,” the rep told the New York Post, adding, “I suspect everyone at Warner Bros. is happy with everything Brandon Routh brings to the role.”
