It’s time to tie one on–a scarf, that is. The latest trend in women’s fashion is actually a throwback to the glorious days of Jackie Kennedy, Audrey Hepburn and other lovely ladies who knew how to couture their coif with a cover-up. Designers are all over this with retro designs like Bill Blass’ logo print, Bulgari’s blue-white polka dots, Burberry’s green floral and our fave, Marc Jacobs’ lips and cherries (right).

From 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday you can feel good about yourself by bringing a new unwrapped toy or toy gift card to the University of Chicago Comer Children’s Hospital parking lot (5721 S. Maryland Ave.) for its 2005 Project Love-Project Giving Holiday Toy Drive. There will be radio stations there broadcasting the event, but we know you want to go just to feel the love.
