– Ashlee Simpson collapsed after a performance in Tokyo and has been hospitalized. The 21-year-old singer had just performed her single “Boyfriend” for MTV Japan on Thursday, when she told the audience she felt sick. She then collapsed in an elevator and was rushed by ambulance to a hospital. Her appearance at the Radio Music Awards on Monday has been canceled.

– An arrest warrant has been issued for a photographer who allegedly struck a 5-year-old child with his camera while trying to take pictures of Reese Witherspoon and her child at an amusement park. An Orange County judge issued the warrant Friday after Todd Kevin Wallace, 44, failed to show up for a bail hearing. Witherspoon’s group had been at the amusement park for a birthday party for her 6-year-old daughter.

– Muhammad Ali is being honored with a German peace prize for his work in the civil rights movement and for the United Nations. The Otto Hahn peace medal is going to Ali, 63, for his “lifelong engagement in the American civil rights movement and the global cultural emancipation of blacks, as well as his work as a UN goodwill ambassador,” the organization said. The award is presented every two years.
