Judith “Judi” Speer passed away December 2 after a long and courageous battle. Loving friend of Sandra Cosby; beloved sister of Robert Jr. (Phyllis); dear aunt of Laura (Michael) La Corte; loving daughter of the late Robert Sr. and the late Erna. Received a Masters Degree from the Goodman Theater. She was a teacher for over 40 years. The schools included Fenwick, Regina-Dominican, Providence-St. Mel and Joliet Catholic. A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, December 21 from 3 to 9 p.m. with a service at 8 p.m. at the Olson Burke/Sullivan Funeral and Cremation Center, 6467-77 N. Northwest Hwy. (1 blk.
