Robert J. Becker, M.D., 81, longtime of Riverside, recently of Plainfield. At rest Sunday, December 18, 2005; born June 25, 1924, in Rock Island, IL, to Abraham and Dorothy Becker. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; his children, Jonathon (Melissa), William (Laura), David (Joanne) Becker and Mary Beth (Thomas) Romano; his grandchildren, Rachel, Leslie, Alex, Nikki Romano, Derek, Bradley and Devin Becker; and his sister, Carolyn Wanger. Preceded in death by his first wife, Yola “Yollie” Becker in 1996. For over 32 years, he was an attending physician at MacNeal Hospital, Berwyn, and ran his own practice in Riverside from 1959 until retiring in 1996.
