Mary Jane “Nonie” Finkl, 90, was born in Springfield, IL and a lifelong resident of Evanston and Northbrook, IL. She passed into the hands of the Lord Dec. 18, 2005. She is survived by her daughter, Martha Anne (Edward) Bechtold; four grandchildren, Mary Jane Wells, Theresa (Conrad) Lau, Caryl C. (Jerry) Doetsch and James E. Wells IV; two great-grandchildren, Taylor and Payton Lau; and a host of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by daughter, Mary Jane (James) Wells; sister, Bette McConnaughey; and granddaughter, Patricia. Memorial visitation Thursday, Dec. 22 at 10:30 a.m., followed by Mass at 11 a.m., at St. Catherine Labourne Church, 3535 Thornwood Ave., Glenview. In lieu of flowers, donations to Catholic Charities appreciated.
