Asunta Mary Sottile, nee Corso, age 91, of Wheeling, formerly of Wilmette and Massachusetts, beloved wife of the late Joseph Sottile; loving mother of Joan (Harold) Murphy-Beerli; cherished grandmother of Jennifer (Mark) Chernak, Claire (Bruce) Johnson and Scott (Kathleen) Murphy; great-grandmother of Matthew Stark, Kyle Johnson, Allison and Jared Murphy; dear sister of Yolanda (late Roger) Dahardt; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Sunny was a commercial teller at Wilmette Bank for many years. Her greatest joy was her family. She also enjoyed books, gardening and travel, but her proudest accomplishment was learning how to swim at the age of 70 and participating in the swim programs at the Northbrook YMCA. Funeral Services were held on Tuesday at the Addolorata Villa Chapel. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
