Thomas Edward Brown, 56, passed away suddenly in his home of natural causes, of Winnetka, formerly of Evanston and Hammond, IN, beloved husband of Jo Anne Brown; loving father of Sarah Anne Brown and the late Kevin Thomas Brown; dear son of the late Walter F. and Georgiana Brown of Hammond, IN; fond brother of Walter L. (Vickie) Brown and brother-in-law of Robert C. and Thomas A. Simmons of Oklahoma City, OK and the late Jean Anne Haught; uncle to his cherished niece and nephews and great-niece and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, Jan. 14, 10:30 a.m. at Winnetka Congregational Church, 725 Pine St., Winnetka. Burial will be in Lake Geneva, WI. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in loving memory of Tom and Jo Anne’s son, Kevin, to organizations that support research and treatment of bipolar disorder and suicide awareness.
