Chicago: Cloudy but milder. Any light rain or drizzle ends early, then clouds thin with a few breaks for sun in the afternoon. Rain redevelops late at night. Stiff southwest winds push temperatures into the 40s for the fist time this month. Higher dew points continue the snowmelt. Still mild overnight.

HIGH: 44

LOW: 35

Note: Predicted high and low temperatures on the Tribune weather page are chronological–the “high” refers to the maximum reading expected during the day and the “low” is the minimum reading expected the following night.
