Chester Koszyk, 83, of Oak Lawn, died on Dec. 15, 2005. He was born in Chicago and grew up in St. Bruno’s Parish on Chicago’s South Side. He attended St. Bruno’s School and Kelly High School. Mr. Koszyk was a Veteran of WW II, serving in Italy and North Africa. Before retiring, he was as an engineer’s assistant with Cook County Hwy. Dept. Mr. Koszyk is survived by wife, Winnifred Schafer Koszyk; son, Andrew (Anita) Koszyk; granddaughters, Amy (Andrew) Gresko and Sara (Patrick) Bachrodt; and great-grandchildren, Adelaide, Andrew and Owen. Interment will be at a later date at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
