– General Motors is recalling about 425,000 2003-06 Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana vans because of reports that the seat-belt buckles will not latch or unlatch.
– Mercedes-Benz is recalling 61,000 2005-06 C-Class sport sedans because of irregularities involving the driver-side air bag discovered during National Highway Traffic Safety Administration testing. New air-bag modules that meet government standards will be installed.
