Sr. M. Joanicia Smaron, C.S.S.F., died Dec. 24, 2005, at Our Lady of the Angels Convent, Chicago, IL. Beloved member of Felician Sisters Community for 71 years. Beloved daughter of the late Albert and Helen; beloved sister of the late Joseph and Elizabeth, the late Jean and Frank Kuczaik, the late Walter and Sophie, the late Stephanie and the late Bernice Smaron; loving aunt of many nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. on Monday, December 26, at Felician Sisters’ Provincial House, 3800 W. Peterson Ave., Prayer Service at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, December 27. Commendation will follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
