Beloved husband and best friend of Eileen, nee Boyce for 49 years; loving father of the late Jimmy Lawson, late Richard Lawson, Mary O’Leary, late Daniel Lawson and Cathy Lawson; devoted grandfather of Thomas (Pam) O’Leary, Holly (Clark) St. John and Jill (Mike) Jaksich; greatgrandfather of many; dear brother of the late Lottie (late Mac) McCulley, late Josephine (late Joseph) Dejanovich, Joseph (Olga) Sukta, Bernice Sukta, Mary (late Al) Gentile, Frank (Mary) Sukta, Edward (late Wanda) Sukta and Joan (William) Mansfield; fond uncle, great-uncle of many nieces and nephews. US Army Veteran of WWII and Korea, recipient of Purple Hearts. Member of Illiana A.L. Post #220. Retired Iron Worker for Local #63 with 40+ years of service.
