Raymond J. “Ray Gray” Gray, age 92, of Chicago, IL, formerly of Twin Lakes, WI and Boca Raton, FL, loving husband of Margaret, nee Burke; dearest father of Mary Carol (Dick) Peske, Sarah Burke Bachrodt, Kathleen (Ron) Hofer Gray and Barbara (David) Barden; loving grandfather of Michael (Nancy), Thomas (Jill Schmidt) and Matthew Peske, Bill (Anna Daly), Craig, Shannon and Sean Bachrodt, Jaime and Michael Bardean and the late Kelly Bachrodt; great-grandfather of Morgan Bachrodt and Cynthia Louise Peske; Preceded by two brothers, Ed and John, four sisters, Irene, Virginia, Dolores and Dorothea. Ray was the longtime outdoor editor of the Chicago’s American and the Chicago Today Newspapers and was the voice of the Great Outdoors on WGN Radio. Mass of Christian burial will be on Saturday, December 31 at 11 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 701 N. Lake Ave., Twin Lakes, WI. Visitation from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Friederich-Jones Funeral Home, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville and from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Interment St. John’s Cemetery, Twin Lakes, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Marquette University Scholarship Fund, P.O.
