I just wanted to comment that the Dec. 28 editorial, “Judging the case for war,” was one of the best editorials I have seen in any paper at any time. It was thorough, evenhanded, intelligently written and very clear-headed. Although each of us might take issue (from our personal perspectives) with the emphasis of a given point, I believed this piece painted a (rare) true and insightful picture of the issues that led to the decision to go to war.
