Wayne H. Montag, age 75, died Saturday in Canton, OH. Born in Chicago, IL, he lived in Chicago most of his life until moving to Canton in 1998. He was a retired sales representative in the moving industry. He was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Canton, OH and a former member of St. Timothy Catholic Church. He was a Korean War Army Veteran. Survived by his wife, Rita A. Montag; three daughters and sons-in-law, Cathleen and John Gierum of Park Ridge, IL, Susan and Richard Hull of Canton, OH and Rita and Martin Herrera of Lake Zurich, IL; six grandchildren, Nicole Gierum, Christopher, Matthew and Timothy Hull and Maria and Alex Herrera; and a brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Judy Montag of Downers Grove, IL. Preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Montag. Visitation Friday at St. Timothy Church, 6326 N. Washtenaw, from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
