What a sad indictment of our own species that when faced with any problem with another species, our response is to kill. Instead of instantly trying to smash, poison, suffocate, drown, or otherwise destroy creatures we’d rather not have in our homes, why not use our superior intelligence to come up with a humane solution to the problem. Learning to live in harmony with the other inhabitants of our planet is a useful skill that might even come in handy when dealing with our human neighbors.
